VERTICAL TURBINE PUMPS

Flowmore manufactures a board line of Vertical Turbine Pumps ranging from 100 to 1000 mm dia. for capacities upto 6000 M3/Hr with heads upto 300 M. Flowmore Vertical Turbine Pumps are suitable for water supply, booster services, cooling towers, drainage, recirculation, air-conditioning, dewatering ,processing pumping, boiler-feed, petro-chemical transfer etc.

In open line shaft pumps, bearings are water lubricated while in the enclosed line shafts oil-lubrication can also be provided. Column Assemblies, both flanged and threaded are available.

Through modern design and controlled quality, bowl and impeller combination achieve efficiencies higher than generally available for horizontal pumps. By multi staging, any desired pressure can be achieved with optimum performannce. Steep head capacity performance and non over loading of driver are characteristics of these pumps. Flowmore enjoys a unique position of being able to recommend the construction best fitted for any service requirement. Standards construction consists of cast-iron bowl, stainless steel impeller shafts, bronze or cast- iron impellers. However, any commercially available material can be furnished for specific requirements.

Impeller wearing rings can be furnished for elemination of any direct wear on the impeller neck.

Packaging-boxes are provided commensurate with the operating pressure range of the unit. Exceptionally deep boxes with multiple packaging are required and furnished for high pressure applications. Adequate provision is made for lubrication and pressure relief. Just as all the other components recieve individual consideration, the packaging boxes are also tailor-made to suit the duty.

Mechanical seals can be furnished for highly volatile liquids or as desired. This is an alternate construction to the conventional packed-box. Seals are available for low, intermediate or high pressure ranges and in a wide variety of material of construction according to service requirement.

Flowmore also offers a wide range of discharge heads including cast-iron or fabrication in the required metallogy for above or below the ground level discharge branch.

Flowmore Vertical Turbine Pumps are available with both vertical hollow shaft motors, vertical solid shaft Motors or with right-angle gear drives. With hollow drivers impeller-to-bowl clearances can be maintained with an adjusting nut at the top of the driver, while the vertical solid shaft drivers, impeller clearance is regulated with an adjusting nut in the thrust -stand assembly
